It's difficult to imagine a more central location, and with so many great attractions within walking distance, you'll have much to keep you entertained. If you need to travel for work or for more sightseeing, however, there are metro stations very close to the apartment. By foot though, there's plenty to see. Las Ramblas is a long street filled with shops, restaurants, street performance and beautiful fountains - it's the perfect place to spend some time even if you're not shopping. Sip a cold drink at an outdoor cafe and watch life go by. Nearby is the famous La Boqueria market, where you can buy fresh produce and enjoy some tasty street food. If you want to visit Gaudi's Sagrada Familia, it's possible to walk there or you can take the metro for just a few minutes.
