This apartment’s central location puts all of central Barcelona at your fingertips. The Vila de Gràcia is its own Old Town, with narrow streets and charming houses dating back to medieval times. Just steps from your door you’ll find the entrance to the picturesque Passeig de Gràcia, stretching about a mile to the border of the Ciutat Vella, or Barcelona’s Old Town Proper. Along the way, besides tree-shaded sidewalks and welcoming restaurants, you’ll find one of Antoni Gaudí’s most celebrated Modernista buildings, the Casa Batlló. The opposite direction from the Passeig de Gràcia will lead you deeper into the hills lining the top of the district, into which is nestled another iconic work by the same designer, the flowing and opulent Park Güell.

The neighborhood around the apartment is lively all year, with a bohemian mix of student-and-artist residence fueling a diverse collection of cafes and nightlife spots, but the Vila de Gràcia gives off a much more local vibe than more touristic areas closer to the Mediterranean.
