Located in the Gothic Quarter within the city’s most famous square of the same name, the 2-bedroom Enjoy Plaza Real 1 apartment sleeps up to 6 guests in style.
Inside you will find a cool creamy white and pillar box red minimalist décor with white furnishings and a matching pale floor with colourful rugs. The result is a calming yet funky restful ambience that is extremely welcoming. Above your head are beautiful exposed wooden ceiling beams that remind you that the building dates back to 1850. Unfortunately due to its age there is no lift to take you to your front door. Since the apartment is on the 3rd floor, it may not be suitable for all guests including the elderly or very young. Relax and socialise with your fellow guests on the big comfortable sofas in the living room. One of them conveniently converts into a double bed for two of your guests. From here you can also watch the TV installed with international channels for your entertainment. There is a fully fitted kitchen also provided in the apartment with all the equipment you need to prepare your own meals. Since eating out in the city every day it can be extremely expensive it can be a very welcome addition to the holiday experience. You can also enjoy your mealtimes together at the stylish dining table and chairs in the living area. The apartment has its own private bathroom with two sinks, a shower, and a toilet. The private bedrooms are fitted with two single beds each which can be divided or pushed together to make doubles if so preferred. You will find good quality storage furniture to enable you to unpack your suitcase as well as attractive mood lighting.
Ideally located in the centre of the city and beautifully furnished throughout, this outstanding holiday apartment makes the perfect alternative to hiring hotel rooms for all your guests.
The stunning Enjoy Plaza Real 1 apartment is located within the famous square of the same name in the Barri Gotic district of the city. Hundreds of visitors flock here daily to admire the beautiful architecture of this fabulous city plaza. You will find lots of excellent restaurants and thriving nightclubs on the square and it is a popular meeting place for both visitors and locals in the city in the day time. Open air concerts take place here at the annual La Mercè festival in September and this is certainly the place to be on New Year's Eve. Be sure to take a closer look at the famous lanterns that stand within the square since they were designed by Antoni Gaudi. His artistic influence is almost impossible to ignore in this, the most creative of European cities.
Just a few minutes’ walk away is Las Ramblas, a lovely tree lined pedestrian walkway that extends 1.2k's from the Placa de Catalunya down to the Christopher Columbus statue at the port. This is possibly Barcelona’s most famous and certainly liveliest street. Look upwards and admire the incredible architecture of the buildings but also be wise and on you guard for pickpockets. Ideally explore the area earlier in the morning when there are fewer people around. As you make your way down the street towards the coastline you will be met by street theatre acts, mimes, gift shops, all kinds of charming cafes and eateries and as well as traditional old-world shops with stunning original Art Nouveau architectural detail. Look out for the unusual bird sellers with their singing colourful caged birds. You are sure to find a real cross section of Catalan society as well as the international visitors to the city in this vibrant market place.
The nearest metro station to the apartment is Liceu, just a 5 minute walk away.
