Just minutes from Camp Nou Stadium, this modern 2-bedroom apartment offers the best of Barcelona for up to 4 guests without breaking the bank.
Nothing is missing from this fully equipped apartment, and the neighborhood is vibrant and welcoming. Overall, this is an ideal home base for your next trip to Barcelona. The apartment maintains an atmosphere of contemporary elegance, beginning with tasteful furniture and hardwood floors in the living room. You’ll also find a four-person dining table in the open space, as well as a flatscreen TV and plenty of thoughtful décor. At one end, the living room opens to a roomy private balcony that lets you enjoy the great outdoors without leaving home. The other end of the living room abuts an American kitchen, which contains a complete set of modern appliances to make cooking and cleaning easy. You’ll find a refrigerator, oven, stove and microwave, as well as a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Two separate bedrooms each hold two guests, guaranteeing peace, quiet and privacy for everyone at nighttime. The bathroom is equally as accommodating, offering a full bathtub and a bidet along with a shower, sink and toilet. You won’t want to leave this cozy, homelike apartment, but when you do you’ll find yourself in the middle of one of Barcelona’s liveliest and most livable neighborhoods, just minutes from the Ciutat Vella by metro.
Les Corts is an extension of Barcelona’s grid-like Eixample neighborhood, but displays more variety in landscape architecture and urban planning. Down the street, you’ll find the legendary Camp Nou Stadium, and all around your apartment you’ll find a cornucopia of restaurants, bars and parks just waiting to be explored.
Camp Nou is a fascinating destination for anyone, but especially for football fans. The largest stadium in Europe, it’s home to both the Futbol Club of Barcelona and the Catalan National Team. Since its inception in the 1950s, Camp Nou has hosted the Olympic finals, two Bruce Springsteen concerts and a mass led by Pope John Paul II. The stadium is still very much functional, so be sure to check the calendar for upcoming events.
While Les Corts maintains a density similar to more central districts, it’s one of the greenest parts of Barcelona. Nearby, you’ll find a wide variety of public spaces affording ample opportunities to relax in the outdoors. From the manicured gardens of Jardins de les Infantes to the concrete swirls of Jardins de Gaieta Renom, you can take a tour of modern Spanish landscape architecture without leaving your neighborhood.
You’ll find plenty nearby to keep you fed and entertained, but all of Barcelona is easily accessible from the nearby Maria Cristina metro stop.
