There is also a comfortable sofa which converts into a bed for a third guest to sleep on. Also provided here is a flat screen TV with international channels installed for your entertainment. You will find a fully fitted kitchen with all the equipment you need for preparing your own meals. This is certainly a welcome addition to your holiday experience since eating out in the city every day can prove to be extremely expensive. A dining table and chairs is also provided or you. You can of course choose to have breakfast in bed instead! The apartment is located on the 3rd floor and accessed via stairs. There is a private bathroom fitted with a sink, shower and toilet.

The harbour district is an extremely desirable area and is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious sea food meal made from the freshest catch of the day. The nearby Port Vell Marina is a popular entertainment area with an IMAX cinema, cool shops and of course somewhere to moor your expensive yacht. Most people head to the marina in search of just one thing – fish! It is home to one of the city’s most successful attractions, the Barcelona Aquarium. The largest sea life centre in Europe, it has hosted over 12 million visitors to date. Here you will find 22 basins filled with 6 million litres of water holding some 11,000 fish. Most popular is always the 80 metre long walkway that takes you through the tanks and brings you face to face with the sharks! The aquarium also features an excellent restaurant and a popular gift shop selling all things fishy.

If you are a big fan of animals then be sure to visit the nearby Barcelona Zoo which is located immediately north of the apartment just a fifteen minute walk away. Ranked among the top zoos in Europe, it is admired for its open enclosures, a more humane way to contain the animals safely. The zoo’s most famous inhabitant was the world’s only known albino gorilla named Snowflake. Unfortunately he is no longer with us but there are hundreds of other exciting and interesting animals to meet at the zoo who will hopefully be as interested in you as much as Snowflake was interested in his visitors.
