By taking a stroll on La Rambla, you will have the chance to check out the various cafes, art shops and galleries on both sides of the street as well as to visit some world renowned attractions such as the famous Cathedral of Barcelona or the historical Palace of the Virreina. Make sure you stop at the La Boqueria market so you can buy some souvenirs for your family back home.  

By walking on Rambla towards the sea, you will encounter the charming Old Harbour where you can search for a fresh fish restaurant or visit the Maritime Museum if you are keen on a historical lesson about the great Spanish colonial past.
