Shoppers will be happy here, with department store El Corte Ingles within walking distance, as well as a variety of stores on Las Ramblas and high end boutiques on the Passeig de Gracia. Also on the Passeig are  a variety of stunning Art Nouveau houses, typical of the Barcelona style. There are plenty of restaurants and bars around Las Ramblas, a vibrant street with a great atmosphere. The Picasso Museum and Textile Museums are both close by and should you need to travel throughout the city, the area is well served by buses and metro.
